This password reset scenario would be used if you do know your password and simply want to change it. This can be done on/off school network.
1. Visit: https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info/password/change
2. Sign into your account if you haven't already.
3.Simply update to your new password.
This password is used for computer login, web help desk login, email access, Google Workspace, and information systems that use Microsoft or Google SSO.
If you have registered Microsoft Authenticator with a personal phone you can reset your password using your phone.
3. In the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone click on your account. You will get a code to enter.
4. Enter the code in the password reset portal.
5. Enter your new password.

-Must contain at least 10 characters
-Must contain at least 1 special character
-Must contain at least 1 number
-Must contain at least 1 capital letter
-CANNOT contain common first names (Joe, Bill, Kate…etc)
-CANNOT contain your district (GullLake854%)
-CANNOT contain repeating numbers (CoFF33isGreat000!)
Your district's HR department or Administration team will provide you with a password. You will want to reset this immediately. This can be done though https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info/password/change on a company device or personal device.
After your password has been updated, you'll want to setup your Multifactor Authentication. Directions can be found at this link

3. You'll be prompted to enter your MiTech credentials. This will be your full district email, and the password you created at the beginning of this sheet.

4. After you enter your MiTech credentials you'll be prompted to authenticate with you newly setup multifactor authentication.
5. After you have completed the authentication the account will appear.
