Cisco Jabber Softphone Client Install Instructions
This install can only be completed once the Network team has configured the user on the phone system. A ticket must be opened to setup the Softphone backend configuration first.
¶ To install the Cisco Jabber Softphone:
- Click this link below and follow the installation instructions. Take all of the defaults.

- Jabber should open after the installation if not click the start button and search Jabber and select it to open up.
- On the first screen Enter your username + @swmitech.org
- Example: ethan.trobeck@swmitech.org
- DO NOT Use your work email address in this spot, it will not work.
- Click Continue
- A login screen will appear
- Enter your username (same as your computer login) Example: ethan.trobeck
- Enter your password
- Click Login
- The Phone will then display
