¶ Clearing Cookies and Cache in Google Chrome
- Open Google Chrome on your computer.
- Click on the More icon (three vertical dots) at the top right corner of the browser.
- Select More tools > Clear browsing data from the dropdown menu.
- In the “Clear browsing data” window, you will see a range of options. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Check the boxes next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files”.
- Finally, click on the Clear data button to remove the selected items.
- Click the Start button
- Click the Gear icon from the Start Menu
- Click on Apps
- Click Default Apps on the left side of the screen
- Scroll down until you see Web Browser
- Click on Microsoft Edge
- Click Google Chrome from the list
- Click switch anyways if prompted
- Open Chrome
- Open a new tab
- Type chrome://settings in the address bar
- Click Autofill
- Click on Passwords
- You should see a list of Saved Passwords
- Scroll until you find the website that you need the password to
- Click on the eyeball
- If prompted for a password type in the password that you use to login to your computer with
- Click OK
- You should now see the password
- Click the Start Button
- Type Control Panel
- Click Control Panel
- Change the View by: to small or large icons
- Click Credential Manager
- Make Sure that Web Credentials are selected
- Scroll until you find the website that you need the password to
- Click the arrow to expand the website that you need
- Click Show
- If prompted type your password in that you use to login to your computer with
- Click OK
- You should now see the password
